Information about the Event

The decision to revert to the original dates was taken after discussions with both exhibitors and consumers revealed that these dates are preferred.  The MFCC management had previously announced other dates in July to avoid clashing with the World Cup event.   After listening to the feedback from stakeholders it became evident that this idea was not in the best interest of the exhibitors and the visitors.  MFCC, understanding and appreciating the feedback from both sides has listened and is changing the dates to the ones preferred by the stakeholders hence, maintaining the dates in the same way as they have been in the past years.

Exhibitors stated that the World Cup, although an important event, has never kept consumers who need to purchase goods away from the fair.  It was held that in July with the increasingly warm weather,  consumers prefer to go off on holiday and start going to the beach.

MFCC  had set up screens to ensure that football enthusiasts, who wish to keep up to date with their sport, whilst visiting the fair, had the facility to watch the match or parts of it whilst visiting the MFCC Malta Trade Fair.

MFCC is the rightful owner of the Malta Trade Fair which moved from Naxxar to Ta’Qali in the 2007.  The Malta Trade Fair has over the years continued to evolve with the support of entities which have always been associated with this event.
