The industry of events is in our DNA. As a venue, we organise and run our own events, such as The Malta Trade Fair, which is Malta's largest commercial fair that has now been running for over 60 years. Then there's the biennial Malta Catering Expo, formerly known as Vivanda, during which over 200 chefs battle it out to win the highest accolades within the culinary world.
Complementing the Malta Trade Fair is the Home and Interiors Show - a four-day event held during the month of October to herald in the winter season and used by exhibitors to showcase items related to homes and the great indoors. AMITEX is our travel-related show, in collaboration with our national airline, AirMalta. The event groups all major players within the travel industry to promote their latest destinations to the inquisitive and travel-loving Maltese audience.
We also organise the Valletta Military Tattoo, held in St. George's Square, a landmark within our capital city, in which foreign military marching bands together with our own Armed Forces, Police, and Maltese Scouts bands entertain over 2,000 visitors during the warm September nights. With this experience under our belts, we offer consultations to event planners and organisers using our venue or other smaller venues, guiding them in best practices, tips for a successful event, checklists, permits needed, audiovisual partners, printing requirements, health and security measures...and the list goes on.
