Despite 2020 being over, we are still in the grips of the Covid-19 pandemic, and with it, restrictions on any mass gatherings.

Currently, as of July 2021, indoor and outdoor events cannot be larger than 150pax, increasing to 200pax by 2nd August – however all guests are to be seated, observing all mitigation measures and have to be fully vaccinated, showing their vaccine certication at the door. Weddings, however, can have not more than 300 attendees outdoors, and 100 indoors, again, all socially distanced in tables of 6.

What has evolved is the bubble concept – meaning that should the venue be flexible enough to handle separate entrances and exits, one could have bubbles of up to 200 by 2nd August. However, no mention has been issued by the authorities as to when standing visitors may attend.

As a result of this, concerts such as the Albano & Romina Power have been cancelled and possibly rescheduled to 2022 together with a range of other conferences and meetings.
