The press launch for Rockestra 2023 was held today in the foyer of the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC). The theme for this year is ‘More than a Feeling’. The annual mega music event is scheduled for 30th September 2023.
His Excellency, the President of Malta, Dr. George Vella, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Administrators of The Malta Community Chest Fund John Huber, the Minister for Culture Owen Bonnici and the Opposition’s Spokesperson for culture Julie Zahra launched the event.
The 15 th edition of this philanthropic event, is one of the major fund-raising activities organised by the Malta Community Chest Fund. Rockestra has always been held at this Convention Centre which is one of the largest indoor arenas in the Mediterranean area.
MFCC regularly supports the Malta Community Chest Fund. Recently, during the Malta Trade Fair, and in cooperation with BCRS, two reverse vending machines were installed during this popular retail event and patrons were encouraged to return their bottles and donate their deposit to the Community Chest Fund.
